First American International Corp. Board Member
As a First American International Corp. Board member, Mr. Lee brings to the Bank over 20 years of customer service, banking operations and entrepreneurial business experience, as well as decades of involvement with many community and civic organizations in the Asian American community in New York. He is also the chairman of the Bank’s Advisory Group.
In April 2014 he retired as an internal management consultant and senior project leader focusing on business process and technology improvements for the worldwide insurance carrier, AIG Property & Casualty. Prior to joining AIG, he worked at IBM as Program Director of Electronic Commerce Operations, and previously at CitiBank in consumer banking in a number of executive roles including Service Quality Director for Private Banking, Operations Head for Student Loans, and as a Financial Chief of Staff in its branch network.
Mr. Lee is an active member of the local Chinese American community and is former chairman and board member of the Chinese American Planning Council, the largest social service agency dedicated to serving immigrant and low-income Chinese American communities throughout New York City. He is a past president of the First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn, a former board member of Brooklyn Ecumenical Cooperative which owns 1,000 apartments for low income residents in central Brooklyn, and a former trustee of the Brooklyn Historical Society.
Mr. Lee is a graduate of Columbia University with a B.S. in chemical engineering and MBA in finance. He is an active alumnus serving in leadership roles in many alumni organizations on campus.
