Mr. Ricca joined FAIB in 2013 as President and CEO, bringing over 25 years of expertise in business,finance and law, and extensive community banking knowledge.

Prior to joining FAIB, Mr. Ricca held various positions with Carver Federal Savings Bank and its parent holding company, which culminated in his role as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of both entities. Previously, Mr. Ricca worked with New York Community Bancorp, Inc. where he served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer, and Haven Bancorp, Inc. where he served as Chief Residential Lending Officer, Corporate Secretary, and prior to that, Legal Counsel.

Mr. Ricca was also a partner in the law firm Ricca & Donnelly, where he focused on banking, corporate and real estate law. Prior to that he held various roles at GE, including Loan Officer at GE Capital Corporation, District Manager of the Medical Systems Business Group, and Corporate Auditor on the GE Corporate Audit Staff.

Mr. Ricca has held numerous professor and lecturer positions, including at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and is a former Stonier Advisory Board Member, and was a Professor of Ethics at the American Banker’s Association Graduate Commercial Lending School. He is a member of the Board of the Chinatown YMCA, Director and Secretary of Chinese American Bankers Association, and a Rotarian at the New York Chinatown Rotary Club.

Mr. Ricca graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and has a Juris Doctorate, cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, and a Master of Law from New York University. Mr. Ricca is also an honors graduate and class president both from the National School of Banking and GE’s Financial Management Program.
