Mr. Lowengrub joined FAIB in November 2016 with over 30 years of experience in financial services, including commercial and investment banking, private banking and wealth management and retail/consumer banking. Before joining FAIB, Mr. Lowengrub was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Metropolitan Commercial Bank, a Manhattan-based community bank, for over 10 years. Prior to this, Mr. Lowengrub was Vice President, Finance of Loring Ward International, a mid-sized wealth management company and worked for nearly 13 years at Deutsche Bank-Americas, where he rose to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Controller of the Private Wealth Management - Americas division. Mr. Lowengrub’s extensive prior experience also includes serving as a Vice President/Group Manager for Salomon Brothers and as a Vice President/Assistant Group Controller for Citicorp.

Mr. Lowengrub holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton Graduate Division, University of Pennsylvania.
